New construction of a residential complex with 165 apartments
This residential development is in a suburban setting in the outskirts of Friedrichshagen in Berlin’s Köpenick district. It has 165 apartments of different sizes and widely varied floor plans, as well as 3000 m2 for commercial usage. All rooms, including kitchens, baths, and halls, have natural light and ventilation by means of interior courtyards in the building.
The complex includes a large double layered garden courtyard. The buildings' height corresponds to that of already existing structures in Hirschgarten and the adjacent cemetery. This, along with the penthouses and roof gardens, provide an additional upper level of urban design relevance to the complex.
