Profile

«Et tout ce dont s’occupent les philosophes se passe entre le regard qui tombe sur un objet, et la connaissance qui en résulte... pour en finir toujours prématurément.» "And everything philosophers deal with occurs between the gaze falling on an object and the knowledge resulting from it… always only to end prematurely."  - Paul Valéry, Eupalinos

The design of new architecture has an equal rank for us with the preservation, reconstruction, and careful expansion of existing historical structures. The experience we have gained in this combination of efforts defines our conceptual approach, from the sketch, through the model, to construction execution and supervision. We are craftsmen, in the broadest sense of the word. Our long-term collaboration with high-profile craftsmen is the basis of our activity in all areas of architecture.  On this basis, we apply urban planning ideas. Whether in Berlin-Mitte or in Indonesia, our buildings always stand in reference to their surroundings, which also infers that, whenever possible, we realize our construction plans with regional building techniques and local companies.
